Make a beautiful Keum Boo Pendant or Earrings
In this full day class, you will be introduced to jewellery making using Silver and applying Gold leaf.
Local Jewellery Artist, Helen Smith, will guide you through the designing and making process.
You will learn how to cut one or two shapes from 25 x 25 x 0.8mm Silver sheet.
These will then be finished, polished and textured ,before using heat and pressure to apply 24ct Gold leaf as desired to create your own unique pendant or pair of earrings.
Sterling Silver ear findings are included. Chains can be purchased on the day.
It is possible to have your pieces hallmarked (at an additional cost of approx. £35) This will take about 2-3 weeks.
You have the option to order a delicious, buffet-style lunch provided by the Barn Cafe.

Duration: 7 hours including a break for lunch
Please Note: You will need to wear close-toed shoes and tie long hair back. A small blow torch is used for the silver soldering process. PPE will be provided.
